Jujimufu The Fitness Freak – You might have seen the viral video of the big bodybuilder guy doing a full split while holding 135 lbs barbell over his head (if not, watch it here).  Men’s Health does a profile of the man behind the videos, Jon Call.  The lesson?  You can accomplish almost anything with practice and hard work.  Even full splits.

85 Year Old Man Breaks 5k Record – From the “Age Ain’t Nuthin’ but a Number” department, 85 year old Ed Whitlock set the world record in the 5k for 85-89 year old bracket.  See how your 5k time stacks up to his.

Can you get strong doing bodyweight exercises?  –  Short answer – “Yes.”  You can’t always get to the gym and lift, so this article outlines how to use bodyweight for your resistance training program.  There is also a great battleropes workout included that I plan to tackle one weekend for a metabolic workout.
